Advanced Nursery Growers is a plant nursery business based in Florida that sells wholesale to primarily smaller backyard growers who need smaller quantities of plants.
The Challenge
Advanced Nursery Growers needed a new visual identity to help the business stand out and communicate the quality of the product. Advanced Nursery uses rootmaker pots which are a better quality root system for plants. This helps their products stand out for anyone looking for quality plants at great prices. They were also looking to expand the business online and link to other large retailers so web solutions needed to be provided as well as copywriting to connect with bloggers.
Target Audience: Smaller backyard growers who need smaller quantities of plants.
The Solution
Other plant sellers were either very old/traditional or conservative looking. They did not put much effort into their visual identity design. So we decided that by looking brighter and more vibrant we could further differentiate the brand.
We chose the tagline “From Our Backyard To Yours” to sound more personal and sincere. The new visual identity is responsive to different sizes and feels very balanced overall. The A+ is used to communicate the quality grade of the product and acts as a signature that can go at the bottom corner of photography. The color scheme is based off crape myrtle flowers which are also more vibrant. This helps to differentiate the brand from others that tend to use green to show they are selling plants. The client will also need ongoing web maintenance to improve the online presence over time.
The new visual identity for Advanced Nursery Growers conveys the quality of the product by combining bright colors with elegant symbolism while the tagline adds a personal touch to the design.
As a result, the new visual identity became a symbol of superior quality when used in both online and print.
