FREELANCE JR. MARKETING SUPPORT ASSISTANT
PAY: $20/hour LOCATION: Remote
JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Freelance Junior Marketing Support Assistant to support ongoing social media execution, light design production, and marketing tasks for our brand and select clients. This is a flexible, contract-based role with the potential to grow based on performance and business needs (Approximately 5–10 hours per month to start).

QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years experience in marketing, communications, or design
- Comfortable using Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong attention to detail

- Able to follow direction and brand standards carefully
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create social media graphics with consistent brand aesthetic
- Help with scheduling and promotion of posts across platforms
- Support event promotion graphics
- Respond to basic social media engagement
- Support our designer with small layout and production tasks
- Resize and repurpose existing assets for online and print
- Assist with outreach efforts
REQUIREMENTS
- Must start at $16/hour during a 30-day paid trial period Upon successful completion of the trial phase, rate increases to $20/hour
- Must be available to speak via Zoom, Skype or Google Meets at least once a month
- Must have portfolio samples (social media preferred)

FREELANCE JUNIOR DIGITAL DESIGNER
PAY: $25/hour LOCATION: Remote
JOB DESCRIPTION
Apricot Branding is looking for a freelance junior digital designer to assist with the conceptualization and execution of creative projects.
QUALIFICATIONS
- At least 2 years of experience in digital design
- Must be based in the United States (Preferably the DC Metro)
- Well-versed in at least Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Indesign
- Must have a portfolio of work that demonstrates skills in design and brand marketing
- Excellent communicator who is easy to reach via phone or email or collaboration tools
- Should be eager to learn and improve skillset
- Should have ability to meet tight deadlines
- Creativity and strong sense of design
- Sharp attention to detail
- Knowledge of animation and motion graphics is a plus
- Ability to write effective marketing/sales copy is a plus
- Ability to code and use wordpress is a plus
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with designing both print and digital media
- Assist with designing visual brand assets and marketing materials
- Execute a variety of creative work
- Assist with brainstorming creative ideas
REQUIREMENTS

As our Social Media Content Creator, you will play a key role in engaging the online community, and driving our marketing objectives forward.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Should be able to talk about past projects that showcase your expertise
- In-depth knowledge of at least 1 social media platform, their unique features, and how to optimize content for more engagement or reach
- Proficiency in content creation tools and software, with the ability to produce high-quality visual and written content
- A creative mindset with a talent for generating fresh, appealing content ideas
- Attention to detail and a good eye for design and aesthetics

QUALIFICATIONS
- This position requires a minimum of 1 year of copywriting experience
- Both written and verbal communication skills, including proficiency in writing for both traditional and digital media
- Be able to recognize and tailor messaging to the needs of different brands, mediums and audiences.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate your thought process
- Must have knowledge of MLA, APA, and Chicago style citation
- Must be able to receive, interpret, and apply feedback

QUALIFICATIONS
- This position requires a minimum of 1 year of web design experience.
- Must be familiar with the WordPress Platform, as well as themes, plugins, widgets, CPanel and web builders like Elementor and DIVI.
- Must be familiar with integrations like Google Analytics, Search Console, and Facebook Pixels.
- Must be familiar with the Shopify Platform.
- Must be able to develop coherent web designs that are tailored to the brand’s creative direction and target audience.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate your thought process.
- Must be able to receive, interpret, and apply feedback.
- Manage deadlines and workload to ensure projects are delivered on-time and within the allotted budget.
- Should speak English as first language but the ability to create websites in other languages is a plus.
- Familiarity with other web builders like Squarespace and Wix is a plus.
- Expertise in HTML. CSS, PHP, and Javascript is a plus.
