FREELANCE JUNIOR DIGITAL DESIGNER
PAY: Negotiable per project or per hr LOCATION: Remote
JOB DESCRIPTION
Apricot Branding is looking for a freelance junior digital designer to assist with the conceptualization and execution of creative projects.
QUALIFICATIONS
- At least 2 years of experience in digital design
- Must be based in the United States (Preferably the DC Metro)
- Well-versed in at least Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Indesign
- Must have a portfolio of work that demonstrates skills in design and brand marketing
- Excellent communicator who is easy to reach via phone or email or collaboration tools
- Should be eager to learn and improve skillset
- Should have ability to meet tight deadlines
- Creativity and strong sense of design
- Sharp attention to detail
- Knowledge of animation and motion graphics is a plus
- Ability to write effective marketing/sales copy is a plus
- Ability to code and use wordpress is a plus
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with designing both print and digital media
- Assist with designing visual brand assets and marketing materials
- Execute a variety of creative work
- Assist with brainstorming creative ideas

FREELANCE JUNIOR CONTENT CREATOR

JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a Content Creator who is ready to bring their expertise and creativity to our social media channels. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about the digital landscape, enjoys crafting compelling narratives, and is adept at producing visually engaging Content. As our Social Media Content Creator, you will play a key role in engaging the online community, and driving our marketing objectives forward.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Should be able to talk about past projects that showcase your expertise
- In-depth knowledge of at least 1 social media platform, their unique features, and how to optimize content for more engagement or reach
- Proficiency in content creation tools and software, with the ability to produce high-quality visual and written content
- A creative mindset with a talent for generating fresh, appealing content ideas
- Attention to detail and a good eye for design and aesthetics
- Minimum of 1 year working in a related field, as freelancer or employee
- Knowledge of photo and video editing
- Should have at least basic knowledge of motion graphics
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Fluency in other languages is a plus
- Ability to write effective marketing/sales copy is a plus

FREELANCE JUNIOR COPYWRITER

JOB DESCRIPTION
If you’re a passionate, experienced copywriter looking to take your skills to the next level, we’re looking for you! At Apricot Branding, we are searching for a strong, detail-oriented writer, with the ability to contribute original thinking, take direction, and also provide professional opinion.
QUALIFICATIONS
- This position requires a minimum of 1 year of copywriting experience
- Superior written and verbal communication skills, including proficiency in writing for both traditional and digital media
- Be able to recognize and tailor messaging to the needs of different brands, mediums and audiences.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate your thought process
- Must have knowledge of MLA, APA, and Chicago style citation
- Must be able to receive, interpret, and apply feedback
- Manage deadlines and workload to ensure projects are delivered on-time and within the allotted budget
- Should speak English as first language but the ability to write in other languages is a plus
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Developing marketing copy for communications that align with objectives
- Create accurate, concise and compelling content, with attention to detail
- Proofreading, editing and critiquing copy
