Inspiring An Atmosphere of Remembrance

iRemember is a new brand that specializes in carefully crafted keepsakes and memorabilia that help people honor, remember, and celebrate the lives of loved ones who have passed.

The Challenge

iRemember was preparing to launch its online presence alongside a new line of personalized memorial keepsakes. The brand needed strategic clarity around its competitive landscape and core audience, so that it can establish itself with confidence in a highly sensitive and emotionally driven category.

Visually, the existing brand direction did not reflect the care, dignity, and emotional resonance the brand intended to convey. The visual system needed to be reimagined to better express iRemember’s purpose, story, and promise and speak to customers navigating moments of loss.

In addition, iRemember sought strategic guidance on how to build local relevance and community connection within the Washington, DC metropolitan region as part of its early growth strategy.

Target Audience: Primarily women, ages 45–65 in Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia who are seeking meaningful, personalized keepsakes, either for themselves or as a thoughtful gift to support someone who has experienced a loss. They need their loved ones to be honored and cherished not forgotten.

The Solution

We began with a discovery session to clarify iRemember’s brand, audience, competitive landscape, and long-term goals. This process helped define a 5–10 year vision. We identified key challenges and opportunities, refined core messaging, and established a clear target audience. Key competitors were also identified for benchmarking performance over time.

These insights guided a new visual direction, beginning with a professional moodboard that defined the brand’s visual language. A refined logo was developed from the client’s original concept, featuring a heart-shaped puzzle with a missing piece to symbolize the memory of a loved one. The visual system was expanded into a cohesive color palette, typography, symbolism, and imagery style, supported by a detailed brand style guide for consistent communication across all channels.

We helped iRemember launch with more clarity, confidence, and coherence across both digital and print channels. The new visual direction is a clear and meaningful expression of its purpose to inspire an atmosphere of remembrance by cherishing memories and honoring legacies one soul at a time.

To support the launch, a product photoshoot was conducted to elevate product presentation through intentional lighting, placements, and visual props. A professional landing page was developed to create a strong first impression and grow the email list through clear, strategic messaging and a free lead offering. The engagement strategy was rounded out with targeted email sequences and campaigns, YouTube video ads that brought the brand story to life, and supporting content for Facebook and Instagram.

A suite of print materials was developed to give iRemember a strong and cohesive presence in physical spaces. These included trifold brochures, tote bags, pop-up banners, and elegant greeting cards that expanded the product catalog. Each piece was designed to work seamlessly together, reinforcing the brand’s story with intention, warmth, and authenticity.

As a result of our partnership, iRemember now has a strong strategic and visual foundation to support long-term growth. The new visual direction is recognizable, trustworthy, and emotionally resonant, generating positive feedback among viewers. The launch helped grow the email subscriber list to over 600 in 6 months with an average open rate of  31.8%, while the Facebook following grew to more than 2,500 through a targeted ad campaign. In addition, we delivered strategic recommendations to guide iRemember’s approach to grant funding, corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs, and multi-channel advertising across print, digital, and television.
